Legal information

Terms of Service

Effective 22 July 2026. These Terms govern access to mindfulmealcourse.info, educational content, course information and online learning services provided by Mindful Meal Course.

These Terms of Service are a legal agreement between you and Mindful Meal Course. “Academy”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Mindful Meal Course, located at 58 Narra Avenue Barangay Mabini Cebu City Cebu 6000 Philippines. “Website” refers to mindfulmealcourse.info and its physical PHP pages. “Materials” includes articles, recipes, videos, lesson notes, demonstrations, course descriptions, images and other educational content made available by us.

Please read these Terms before using the Website or participating in an online programme. By accessing the Website, submitting an enquiry or using Materials, you agree to the provisions that apply to that activity. If you do not agree, do not continue using the relevant service. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how information and browser storage are handled.

1. Acceptance, capacity and eligibility

You must have legal capacity to accept these Terms. Independent course registration is intended for adults. A parent or legal guardian must evaluate and supervise any use of cooking Materials by a minor and is responsible for age-appropriate tasks, tools, heat, ingredients and online access. We may reasonably ask for confirmation of authority where an adult seeks to arrange access for another person.

You agree that the information supplied in an enquiry or learning account will be accurate, current and not misleading. You may use the Website from outside the Philippines only where doing so is lawful in your location. These Terms do not exclude rights that applicable consumer law makes mandatory.

2. Nature and scope of educational services

Mindful Meal Course provides healthy cooking education, recipes, meal-planning ideas, ingredient guides and online cooking programmes. Course pages describe intended subject matter, approximate duration, suggested level and learning format. A description is not a guarantee that every learner will achieve the same outcome or complete an activity in the same time.

We may refine lesson order, correct an error, replace an unavailable demonstration, update ingredient alternatives or make a comparable change that improves accuracy or delivery without materially reducing the educational purpose. Any scheduled element, access period or programme-specific condition will be communicated before a registration is confirmed. The public Website does not operate a shopping cart or take payment-card details.

3. Registration interest, confirmation and access

Submitting a registration interest form or enquiry does not by itself create course enrolment or guarantee a place. It asks the Academy to provide information or discuss programme suitability. A course arrangement exists only after the relevant details are confirmed through an authorised Academy communication and any expressly stated conditions are satisfied.

If access credentials are issued, they are personal to the authorised learner and must be kept confidential. You must not share a password, allow simultaneous unauthorised use, publish a private access link or attempt to bypass an access limit. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access. We may require a password change or temporarily restrict access while investigating.

Technical requirements may include a supported browser, reliable internet connection, working audio or video capability and permission for functional browser features. The learner is responsible for their device, connectivity and ordinary data charges. We will provide reasonable information about known access requirements but cannot guarantee compatibility with every device or network configuration.

4. Learner preparation and responsibilities

You are responsible for reading lesson preparation notes, checking equipment and ingredients, allowing realistic time and selecting substitutions appropriate to your household. Learning benefits depend on attention and practice. You should stop an activity if equipment is damaged, instructions are unclear, an ingredient appears unsafe or the task exceeds your current ability.

Feedback and reflections should be respectful, relevant and free from unlawful or harmful material. Do not submit another person’s private information, confidential recipes, copyrighted course materials from elsewhere or images of an identifiable person without appropriate authority. If you choose to share optional work with us, you retain ownership of your original contribution while giving us permission to review it for support and programme administration. We will seek separate permission before using an identifiable student story publicly.

5. Kitchen, food and allergy safety

Cooking involves inherent risks, including sharp tools, hot surfaces, steam, raw ingredients, breakable equipment, fire and allergic reactions. You are responsible for maintaining a safe workspace, following manufacturer instructions, using suitable protective practices, storing and cooking food safely, preventing cross-contamination and supervising anyone who needs assistance. Do not leave active cooking unattended where doing so would be unsafe.

Ingredient suggestions are general and cannot account for every allergy, intolerance, medication interaction, cultural requirement or health circumstance. Read product labels, verify cross-contact information with manufacturers where necessary and select alternatives appropriate to the people eating the food. If you have a significant allergy, medical condition, pregnancy-related question or specialised dietary requirement, seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

6. Educational and informational disclaimer

All Website Materials, FAQs, recipes and courses are provided for general educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute individual medical, nutrition, dietetic, therapeutic or other professional recommendations. References to balance, fresh ingredients or healthy cooking describe an educational approach and are not promises to prevent, treat or cure a condition.

You remain responsible for decisions based on your circumstances and qualified advice relevant to you. We do not guarantee health results, weight change, culinary employment, income, certification, mastery within a fixed period or any other specific personal outcome. Statements from students describe individual experiences and are not typicality claims or guarantees. Materials may contain reasonable estimates for cooking time, yield or ingredient quantity, but actual results vary with equipment, climate, ingredient size, skill and substitutions.

7. Intellectual property and permitted personal use

The Website design, Academy name, text, original photography, video, lesson structure, worksheets, compilations and other original Materials are owned by or licensed to Mindful Meal Course and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant an authorised user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access Materials for personal, non-commercial learning.

You may print a reasonable number of supplied notes or recipes for your own household use. You may not reproduce a substantial portion of a course; record or redistribute video; share private downloads; remove rights notices; translate and publish Materials; create a competing course from our lesson structure; sell or license Materials; use them to train an automated model; or make them available through a file-sharing, social or group platform without written permission.

Cooking methods and ordinary ingredient combinations may be practised and discussed. Our restriction concerns protected expression, presentation, recordings, compilations and access—not the private act of cooking a meal. If you believe Website content infringes rights you own, contact us with identification of the work, location, basis of the claim and reliable contact details.

8. Acceptable website use

You must not use the Website to break law; misrepresent identity or authority; introduce malicious code; probe security; scrape at a rate that impairs service; interfere with another user; collect personal information without authority; send unsolicited promotions; submit abusive, discriminatory or threatening material; or attempt to access non-public systems. You must not use automation to overload forms or manipulate analytics.

Links to our public pages may be shared accurately and without implying endorsement, partnership or certification. Framing the Website, copying its visual identity or presenting Materials under another brand is prohibited. We may use proportionate technical measures to prevent abuse and preserve service reliability.

9. Availability, accuracy and third-party resources

We aim to keep public information accurate and the Website reasonably available, but continuous, error-free or universally compatible access is not promised. Maintenance, provider interruption, security response, network conditions or events beyond reasonable control may affect availability. We may correct typographical, recipe, scheduling or technical errors when identified.

The Website may link to a public authority, ingredient reference, social network or service operated independently. A link is supplied for convenience or context and does not make us responsible for the external service, its availability, content, privacy practices or transactions. Review the terms and notices of the destination before providing information. We do not endorse every statement on a linked page merely by linking to it.

10. Warranties and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, public Website Materials are provided on an “as available” basis without an implied promise that they will suit a particular individual purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from fraud or another matter for which exclusion is prohibited.

Subject to those mandatory rights, Mindful Meal Course is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of free public Materials, loss of data caused by a user’s device, an external website, or a failure to follow food safety, equipment, allergy or supervision requirements. Where our liability relating to a confirmed educational service may lawfully be limited, it will be limited to reasonably foreseeable direct loss caused by our failure to exercise the standard required by applicable law. Each limitation is intended to operate only as far as law permits.

You are responsible for loss reasonably caused by your unlawful misuse of the Website, infringement of another person’s rights or unauthorised redistribution of protected course Materials. We will take reasonable steps to mitigate a claimed loss and expect you to do the same.

11. Suspension, termination and effect

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address security risk, non-payment under a separately confirmed arrangement, material breach, unlawful use, harassment, credential sharing or infringement. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the issue and allow a reasonable opportunity to correct it. Immediate restriction may occur when needed to protect people, systems or rights.

You may stop using the public Website at any time. Programme withdrawal and any applicable access consequences are governed by the information supplied for the confirmed programme and mandatory consumer rights. On termination, the personal-use licence ends and private Materials must not be further accessed or distributed. Provisions concerning intellectual property, responsibility, disputes and any accrued rights survive where their nature requires.

12. Governing law, dispute resolution, changes and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protection that applies in their place of residence. Before beginning formal proceedings, each party should provide a written description of the concern and allow a reasonable opportunity for good-faith resolution. Nothing prevents urgent relief where necessary to protect safety, confidential information or intellectual property.

Subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules, disputes that cannot be resolved directly will be submitted to the competent courts of Cebu City, Cebu. If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be applied to the greatest lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written agreement; we may transfer them as part of a legitimate organisational change while preserving applicable rights.

We may revise these Terms for legal, security, technical or service reasons. The effective date will be updated. Material changes affecting an existing confirmed programme will be communicated appropriately and will not retrospectively remove mandatory rights. The current Terms govern later Website use after publication.
